Norvin Green State Forest

 The Skylands of Northern Jersey hold a landscape that differs from all others in the state. Rolling mountains, rugged and rocky terrain, and undisturbed forests characterize the region. The Skylands provide habitats to many species, including bobcats and black bears. Despite its remote feel, Norvin Green State Forest is only about 30 miles from New York City, giving hikers with a unique city meets wilderness experience.
