Howell Living History Farm

Oh, to live the life of an early 20th century farmer! This seems like a idealistic dream wiped away by the passage of time, but a trace of this lifestyle still remains at Howell Living History Farm. Here, at this small Mercer County farm, days pass in the simple rhythms of farm life. Each year, there are sheep for shearing, cows for milking, eggs for collecting... Pigs wallow in their pen and horses graze in the rolling pastures. Come fall, and there is corn for picking and bacon and sausages to make. Winter arrives, and fresh sugar maple sap drips into cold tin buckets and sleigh bells jingle across the farm. And then, Spring again. And Summer, and Fall, and Winter. Taste this steadfast farm lifestyle, and once you step back into our chaotic modern world, you will inevitably find yourself longing for Howell Living History Farm once more.
