Grand Teton National Park
Rising high over dusty sagebrush flats, lodgepole pine forests, pristine alpine lakes, and the serpentine Snake River, the majestic Teton Range dominates Grand Teton National Park. Though icy glaciers ruled this land thousands of years ago, shaping the landscape, today the park is lush habitat for a variety of wildlife. Among the animals that make their home here are moose, elk, black and grizzly bears, eagles, and many more. But animals are not the only ones who can enjoy the natural wonders of Grand Teton National Park; the park is also hailed as one of the best and most accessible parks for hiking, boating, rock climbing, and wildlife tours.

Site of the famous 1942 photograph taken by Ansel Adams. In Adams' time, the trees were shorter and the Snake River was visible. Nowadays, trees obscure the river and a modern photographer could never take the same picture as Ansel Adams. This composite combines the past with the present.
